53rd Dai Al-Mutlaq Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS

Syedna Aaliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS was born on Lailatul Qadr 23^rd Shehrullah 1365H(20^th August 1946). When Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA were informed about it, he wrote a note saying his name as “Aaliqadr Mufaddal”, the adad of which corresponds to the year of his birth.

Misaaq

Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA had taken the misaq of Aaliqadr Mufaddal maula TUS on 27^th Zilqaa’dil Haraam 1379H.

Hadiyat

On 27^th Zilqaa’dil Haraam 1385H(17^th March 1966), on eve of Milad majlis of Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA, he was granted the laqab ‘Saifuddin’ and the title of SDT[Seqato Dawaat-e-Taiyebiyah]

Marriage

Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin maula RA solemnized the nikah of Aaliqadr maula TUS with the daughter of Ameer-ul-Jamea Syedi Yusuf bhaisaheb Najmuddin, Jawaharatus Sharaf aaisaheba , in Surat. They have 5 children, 3 sons (Shehzada Jafar us sadiq bhaisaheb, Sehzada Taha bhaisaheb, Sehzada Husain bhaisaheb) and 2 daughters.

Historical visit & event

In 1390H, Mufaddal maula TUS was made Ameer-ul-Hajj, with a large and important personages in his entourage.  After Hajj he went to Karbala, Shaam, Misr and Yemen.

The trip of Yemen was historic. Aaliqadr maula TUS laid the foundation for the construction of mausoleum(roza) of Syedna Hatim RA in this trip. In 1391H, On return from Hajj and Yemen, he was accorded a grand reception on the airport, in which Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin maula RA himself presided. In khushi ni majlis and programmes that followed, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin maula RA granted the title of “Aqeeq-ul-Yemen” to Aaliqadr maula TUS. In 1381H, Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA had granted the title of “Mansur-ul-Yemen” to Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA maula and ten years later, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin maula RA granted similar title to Aaliqadr maula TUS.

It is known to all that the Al Jame al Anwar masjid in misr is restored to its original form by our Maula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA {Restoring this masjid was impossible as UNESCO itself had declared it unachievable}. But  its nothing when it comes to our Maula. This masjid was restored to its glory in just the period of 28 months. And that was only because of the dua of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin maula RA and efforts of his mansus. Mufaddal maula TUS himself worked and also instructed mumineen for the cleaning of Jame Anwar. It was in a very bad state with a school inside the grounds and horrible odors from the Mehrab area.

With the raza and doa of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin maula RA, Aaliqadr maula TUS had first started the Faiz alMawaid al Burhaniyah in Misr years ago, and then in all over the World wherever mumin resides.

Becoming successor

3^rd Rajab-ul-Asab 1432H was the historic day in the history of Dawoodi Bohra community as 52^nd Dai al-Mutlaq proclaimed nass(appointing successor) upon his son Syedna Aaliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS.

Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA has done nass on Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS privately and publicly, according to Dawat doctrines, on:

·         11 Zil Q 1388 Hijri – 3 Witnesses (Privately)

·         12 Jam Ula 1415 Hijri – 1 Witness (Privately)

·         1426 Hijri – 2 Witnesses (Privately)

·         3 Rajab 1432 – 6 Witnesses (Privately)

·         19 Rajab 1432 – (Publicly)

In 1381H, Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA had granted the title of “Mansur-ul-Yemen” to Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA. In 1391H, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA had granted the title of “Aqeeq-ul-Yemen” to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS.

During the program of inauguration of Masjid Al Jame Al Anwar Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA gifted his own ring to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS. Syedna Noor Mohammed Nooruddin RA had gifted his own ring to  Syedna Ismail Badruddin RA while doing nass on him.

Some Interesting facts

Syedna Aaliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS is the first among Doats to have name ‘Mufaddal’.

Aaliqadr maula TUS is having the laqab ‘Saifuddin’, which is also of Syedna Abdeali ‘Saifuddin’ RA (43^rd Dai Al-Mutlaq), and Syedna Taher ‘Saifuddin’ RA.

Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin RA was the first among Doats with the laqab ‘Saifuddin’ and from them the 10^th is Aaliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin maula TUS.

Even, Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin RA was the first among Doats with name ‘Abdeali’, Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA was the first among Doats with name ‘Taher’.

After the 100 years of Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin RA(wafaat 1232H), Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA became Dai Al-Mutlaq(in 1333). And after that in the 100^th year(1432H) Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA proclaimed nass on Syedna Aaliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS.
